The Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dubravka Bošnjak, spoke today in Sarajevo with the President of the Organization Committee of the Youth Sports Games BiH, Haris Deliahmetović.

Deliahmetović informed the minister that the Youth Sports Games have become a favourite event among young people in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He emphasized that this event provides an opportunity for young people from different parts of the country to gather, compete and socialize, and promotes values such as fair play, friendship and tolerance.

The minister emphasized the importance of developing young talents and promoting sportsmanship among young people. She emphasized the importance of supporting young people in sports, as well as the role that sports events such as the Youth Sports Games play in strengthening team spirit, fair play and a healthy lifestyle. She introduced the interlocutor to the competences of the Ministry in the field of sports, as well as the possibilities offered to athletes and sports organizations by the Ministry's Grant for co-financing projects in the field of sports.

At the meeting, the mutual desire was expressed that the BiH Youth Sports Games become a tradition and an inspiration for young people in the country.

Youth Sports Games were held in 46 cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 120 days of the competition, the twelfth year of its existence, and around 60,000 young people participated in different ways.
