The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, ENIC-NARIC Centre of the Republic of Slovenia have informed that, from Monday, 19 June 2023, the Republic of Slovenia will continue considering individual requests for recognition of higher education diplomas from Bosnia and Herzegovina, which unblocked process of evaluation and recognition of higher education diplomas obtained in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The aforementioned activity is the result of intensive months-long communication between the Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the competent educational authorities with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Slovenia, with the aim of protecting the acquired rights of persons who obtained their higher education diplomas in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

We would like to remind you that on 24 October 2022, the ENIC-NARIC Centre of the Republic of Slovenia suspended consideration of individual requests for the evaluation and recognition of higher education diplomas obtained in Bosnia and Herzegovina, due to, as stated in the Statement of the Slovenian ENIC-NARIC Centre, "missing, unclear and inconsistent information regarding the accreditation of higher education institutionsand study programs in Bosnia and Herzegovina."
