During an official visit to the Republic of Bulgaria and a meeting held at the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Bulgaria, Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dubravka Bošnjak and Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Bulgaria Dimitar Iliev signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Sofia between the Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Bulgaria.

The Memorandum provides a framework for further enhancing collaboration between these two countries through the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and resources, as well as strengthening ties between sports associations, clubs, federations, and youth organizations.

Minister Dubravka Bošnjak emphasized the traditionally good relations between Bulgaria and Bosnia and Herzegovina and expressed confidence that this agreement will contribute to achieving the common goals of the two countries.

Bulgarian Minister Iliev stated that the Memorandum is very important for Bulgaria and expressed the expectation that through its implementation, the relations between the two countries will be deepened.

After the signing of the Memorandum, the ministers visited the Sports Museum and participated in the opening ceremony of the European Week of Sport, held throughout Europe in response to the growing physical inactivity crisis.
