Minister Dubravka Bošnjak and Ljerka Ostojić Discuss the Importance of Scientific Development in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Today, Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dubravka Bošnjak, and the President of the Council for Science of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ljerka Ostojić, held discussions in Mostar regarding key issues related to the work of the Council for Science, the implementation of the Science Strategy, and investments in the field of science in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During the meeting, Minister Dubravka Bošnjak and President Ljerka Ostojić emphasized the importance of investing in science and research as a crucial factor for the long-term development of Bosnia and Herzegovina. They discussed the Council for Science's past work and evaluated its activities as essential for promoting scientific research and innovation in the country.

Minister Bošnjak expressed her support for the Council's work and its role in formulating and implementing the Science Strategy in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

President Ljerka Ostojić expressed gratitude for the support from the Ministry of Civil Affairs and highlighted the efforts made by the Council to enhance collaboration between different sectors and institutions in the country, with the aim of advancing the field of science.

The Council for Science is an advisory and expert body of the Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the purpose of promoting and supporting the development of science in the country. This body consists of a president and 12 members, with a four-year term, appointed on the recommendation of the Ministry of Civil Affairs and the relevant ministries of the entities, the Republika Srpska, and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
