Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dubravka Bošnjak, signed the CEEPUS IV Agreement today in Warsaw, reaffirming the commitment to preserving and enhancing this significant academic exchange program and the desire to continue collaboration among higher education institutions in the Central European region.

The signing ceremony of the CEEPUS IV Agreement was attended by ministers responsible for education and delegations from 15 partner countries. The Ministry of Education and Science of Poland hosted the ceremonial signing event of the CEEPUS IV Agreement, held as part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Central European Exchange Program for University Studies (CEEPUS).

CEEPUS IV will be in effect from 2025 to 2032, bringing a range of innovations and expansions aimed at better supporting students and researchers in the Central European region. The program will continue to promote the connection of scientific research areas and encourage an increase in the number of scientific research projects at universities.

For Bosnia and Herzegovina, CEEPUS holds special significance as the only multilateral international exchange program in which BiH has a partner role. Every year, hundreds of students and academic staff have the opportunity for mobility through this program.

CEEPUS has played a key role in promoting academic exchange, research, and collaboration among higher education institutions in the Central European region. Following the highly successful CEEPUS III program, which will enter its final phase in 2024, the member countries expressed strong willingness to continue the program after the year 2025 through today's signing.
