Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dubravka Bošnjak, visited the University Clinical Hospital Mostar, where she met with the hospital director Ante Kvesić and his associates.

During the visit, director Kvesić briefed the minister on the current projects at the healthcare institution and the challenges it faces. He emphasized that the UCH Mostar is investing in modernization and keeping up with global healthcare trends, positioning itself as a leader in the region in the certain fields of medicine.

Minister Bošnjak presented the opportunities offered by the European Union's EU4Health program. This program, which Bosnia and Herzegovina is accessing, with a budget of 5.3 billion euros for the period from 2021 to 2027, provides significant financial support for improving health care systems. The minister urged active participation in the program.

During the visit, the minister also toured the newly opened paediatric building, which represents an important step in improving healthcare for the youngest patients. This modern facility is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and technologies, enabling the provision of top-quality healthcare to children and their families.

Minister Bošnjak supported the hospital's efforts in providing quality healthcare to patients in the Mostar region and beyond. She also expressed readiness for further collaboration, especially in projects aimed at maximizing the use of EU4Health program funds.
