The Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dubravka Bošnjak, met with the Ambassador of Italy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Marko Di Ruzzo, to discuss further strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries in the areas of the Ministry of Civil Affairs' activities.

The meeting highlighted the excellent bilateral cooperation between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Italy in all areas, with a special emphasis on cultural exchange. It was noted that the signing of an Agreement on the establishment of the Italian Institute for Culture in Sarajevo could be an important step towards further strengthening cultural ties.

Furthermore, the meeting emphasized that Bosnia and Herzegovina and Italy already have an Agreement on cooperation in the fields of education, culture, and sports that is being successfully implemented. There is hope that cooperation in these areas will continue to strengthen, with a particular focus on initiatives in the field of sports and the exchange of young people and researchers.

The Ministry of Civil Affairs also called for the initiation of an agreement on mobility and youth exchange between the two countries. The possibility of concluding a bilateral agreement on social security cooperation was also discussed.

The meeting provided an opportunity to once again emphasize Italy's important role in supporting Bosnia and Herzegovina in various sectors, especially in the fields of culture, education, and healthcare. The support of Italy for Euro-Atlantic processes in Bosnia and Herzegovina was particularly stressed.
