Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dubravka Bošnjak, met in Sarajevo with the president of the Association of Employers of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Adnan Smailbegović, and the director of the Association, Mario Nenadić.

The meeting discussed possibilities for strengthening cooperation between the Ministry of Civil Affairs and employers in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina to improve labour market processes in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

One of the main topics of the meeting was the strategy for attracting and retaining qualified workforce in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Possibilities for professional training and retraining of the workforce were discussed, aiming to adapt to the needs of the labour market and enhance the competitiveness of the economy of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Minister Bošnjak emphasized the importance of investing in education and professional development as key elements for achieving long-term stability and economic development.

The importance of dialogue between the public sector and employers in creating a more favourable environment for the development of the labour market in Bosnia and Herzegovina was highlighted in the discussion. Representatives of the Association of Employers expressed readiness to actively participate in creating and implementing measures that will contribute to improving the situation in the labour market.
