Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dubravka Bošnjak, met today with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Helena Lagerlöf, marking her first visit to the Ministry of Civil Affairs since her appointment in August this year.

Minister Bošnjak expressed gratitude for the continuous support provided by the Kingdom of Sweden to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the European integration process. She emphasized the importance of this support for strengthening institutions and implementing necessary reforms.

One of the key discussion topics was the implementation of the project titled "Digital Enhancement of Land Management for the European Future of Bosnia and Herzegovina" (DELEF). DELEF is a donor project of the Kingdom of Sweden, being implemented with the support of the Swedish Mapping, Cadastral, and Land Registration Authority "Lantmateriet," through the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) and the Swedish Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Through this project, the Kingdom of Sweden has approved a donation of around 7.5 million BAM, aiming to enhance the land management system in Bosnia and Herzegovina. During the meeting, Minister Bošnjak and Ambassador Lagerlöf exchanged views on further steps in the implementation of the DELEF project, highlighting the importance of coordinated efforts in achieving common goals.

Minister Bošnjak emphasized that Sweden is present in Bosnia and Herzegovina not only through the DELEF program but also through numerous other cooperation projects and programs. She noted the very close ties between the two countries and the strong community of people of Bosnian origin living and working in Sweden.

Minister Bošnjak thanked Ambassador Lagerlöf for her personal commitment and the support provided by the Kingdom of Sweden to Bosnia and Herzegovina. She expressed confidence that this collaboration would bring concrete results in the European integration process and improve the quality of life in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
