A representative from the Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Assistant Minister for Education Adnan Husić, took part in the conference titled "Three Cooperation Agreements - One Year after Signing," organized by the Centre for the Promotion of Civil Society (CPCD), the Institute for Cooperation and Development (CDI - Albania), and the Centre for Policy and Governance (CPU - BiH) at the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Assistant Husić reminded that the Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as the institution responsible for coordinating the education and health sectors, as well as the labour and employment sector, is interested in the ratification of two agreements currently in the ratification process. These agreements include the Agreement on the Recognition of Qualifications in Higher Education in the Western Balkans and the Agreement on the Recognition of Professional Qualifications for Doctors of Medicine, Doctors of Dental Medicine, and Architects in the context of the Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA) before they start applying in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

He stated that the ratification of these agreements could have an impact on fulfilling the international obligations that Bosnia and Herzegovina has undertaken, speeding up the path to the European Union, and aligning the laws and regulations in Bosnia and Herzegovina with European Union law in these areas, especially when it comes to regulated professions, which would contribute to the free movement of professionals.

At the conference in Sarajevo, attended by numerous representatives from the non-governmental sector in Bosnia and the region, Johann Sattler, the head of the European Union Delegation, emphasized that regional integration and integration with the European Union are two interconnected processes and not separate ones.
