Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dubravka Bošnjak, met with the Director of the Federal Employment Institute, Helena Lončar, to discuss cooperation concerning the improvement of labour market conditions.

During the discussion, the importance of coordination between the Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina and relevant institutions of entities and the Brčko District in the field of employment was emphasized.

The Decision on establishing the annual quota of work permits for the employment of foreigners in Bosnia and Herzegovina for the 2023 was adopted, as well as the proposal of the "Plan on labour market policy guidelines and active employment measures in Bosnia and Herzegovina for the 2023" which is in the adoption procedure as a result of good cooperation and coordination.

Furthermore, they discussed the EU Youth Guarantee schemes, designed to facilitate the transition from education to employment for young people.

The cooperation between the Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Federal Employment Institute aims to improve labour market conditions, to support employment, and develop labour market policies. Both institutions remain committed to joint efforts to create better prospects in the field of employment.
