Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dubravka Bošnjak, leads the delegation of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the 57th session of the United Nations Population Fund Commission. Alongside Minister Bošnjak, Josip Brkić, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, is also part of the delegation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Minister Dubravka Bošnjak addressed the main debate of this important international conference, as well as participated in a panel discussion, speaking about the role of women, youth, and other vulnerable groups in society, as well as the efforts Bosnia and Herzegovina is made to ensure their inclusion, education, and employment. She emphasized the importance of empowering women and creating equal opportunities for all citizens, especially in the context of post-conflict societies like Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Minister took the opportunity to highlight the need for improving healthcare and disease prevention, particularly regarding cancer, and for supporting young people in realizing their potential.

She stressed that Bosnia and Herzegovina is an example of good practice in cooperation with UNFPA and other international organizations, reflecting partnership relations to achieve sustainable development goals.

In addition to attending the conference and participating in the panel, during her stay in New York, Minister Bošnjak also had a series of bilateral meetings with representatives of other countries and organizations.
